A Bubble about to Burst

Americans owe more on their student loans than on their credit cards. The default rate on those loans is more than four times than on mortgages. FICO manages millions of nationwide credit reports. They found that since 2005 the number of Americans with student debt has doubled. Twelve percent of Americans are making those payments right now. The number of Americans with six figures in student debt has more than tripled.
