I worked on Wall Street in the 80s (First Boston and Bankers Trust FX)

I thought it was insane then and couldn't possibly continue.

Well, I didn't know Elliott Wave Theory then and underestimated how long market madness could last...through the 90s, into the 2000s, and we're still in it to a degree now as people refuse to see the obvious.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person who was amazed that the craziness of the 1980s not only continued but was ramped up exponentially the following two decades.
