The Fed's looming dilemma

The Fed has had 13 separate policies in the last five years.

When you have 13 separate policies in five years, you have no policy.

This is an "old" clip, but the issues covered here are completely relevant today.

This "stop go" central bank policy was tried in the UK in the 1950s. It didn't work then. It won't work now.
