Pimco is the 800 pound gorilla in the 800 pound gorilla market (bonds). They manage $2 trillion in funds.

And their top guy, and founder, just walked off the job - literally.

The Pimco board says they didn't know about it until they heard it on the news.

So who is going to run this thing?

El-Erian, the most logical choice, says he's not coming back to do it.

A $2 trillion dollar bond fund in unsteady hands, now? Really?
